Therapeutic Approaches & Modalities
CBT, CPT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing
I believe therapy is most effective when it feels safe, collaborative, and centered on your unique story. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences shape the way you show up in your life. By noticing patterns that may be holding you back, we can work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to support coping skills, process trauma, emotional growth, and grief. When desired, I also integrate faith-based perspectives, prayer, and Christian values to support healing of both the mind and soul.
In our work together, we’ll focus on exploring tools, insight, and encouragement that can help strengthen resilience, improve relationships, navigate grief, and approach life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. You are not alone; therapy is a space where you can discover your own path forward.

I have over 15 years of experience supporting clients of all ages in medical, behavioral, and mental health services. Earlier work included supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting them in living independently and making choices aligned with their own goals and values. Also, I have experience in using 12-step programs for healing and recovery and in facilitating therapeutic groups to provide support and connection.

Faith has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was raised in a family where faith played an important role, and from an early age I was taught the power of prayer and trust in God. I learned that God is always faithful; working in our lives not always according to our timing, but always according to His perfect will.
Through years of reading Scripture and engaging with biblical teachings, I have strengthened my own faith and gained a deeper understanding of life’s challenges and purpose. These experiences shape the way I support others, helping them find meaning, hope, and direction rooted in God’s truth. Even in seasons of uncertainty or darkness, I believe faith can be a guiding light; offering strength, peace, and the reassurance that we are never walking alone.
