  • Willow Sanders

    Willow Sanders

    INTERN

    Willow Sanders is a counselor-in-training with a passion for guiding individuals, couples, and families toward healing, purpose, and personal growth. With decades of experience in lay counseling, she has supported people through life’s challenges, helping them build stronger relationships and embrace their God-given potential. Her background spans peer counseling, church ministry, marriage counseling, and over 20 years of work as a birth doula and childbirth educator.

    Willow earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sonoma State University in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling at William Jessup University. As part of her graduate training, she is gaining hands-on experience as an intern at New Vintage Church under the supervision of Fourth Street Christian Therapists.

  • Matthew Turner

    INTERN

    Matthew Turner is a counselor-in-training dedicated to serving others through faith-based guidance and compassionate support. Rooted in his belief in Jesus Christ, he is committed to walking alongside individuals through life’s challenges, offering a judgment-free space for healing and growth. With a deep passion for helping others find peace and well-being, he strives to honor each person’s unique story while respecting their personal beliefs and values.

    Matthew earned his Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Saint Katherine in 2020 before teaching English as a Foreign Language to students worldwide. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide and is gaining hands-on experience as an intern at New Vintage Church under the supervision of Joy Kendall, LPCC, at Fourth Street Christian Therapists.

  • Aalaya Wheeler

    INTERN

    Aalaya Wheeler is a counselor-in-training and social worker dedicated to guiding others through life’s challenges with truth, transparency, and faith. She believes that while life is full of defining moments, learning how to process and respond to them is key to personal growth.

    Aalaya earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hawai’i Pacific University in 2017 and began her career at Waikiki Health, working in medical case management for HIV and HCV patients. After relocating to California in 2021, she transitioned into environmental justice work before moving into county social services, supporting individuals with severe mental health disorders. She is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at California Baptist University and gaining hands-on experience as an intern at New Vintage Church under the supervision of Fourth Street Christian Therapists.

  • Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 9 PM
    Saturday appointments may be available through some clinicians.

  • Pricing: 50-minute sessions range from $110 to $200 depending on the training, experience, and availability of the clinician.

    We also offer opportunities for FREE Couples or Family THERAPY in the community through our trainee program in which we provide supervision for graduate students in counseling psychology as they complete the requirements for clinical hours in their degree programs. These student clinicians are serving as volunteers in local 501 C3 settings for which we at Fourth Street Christian Therapists provide supervision.
