Hi, I’m Aalaya Wheeler, and I’m excited to see what God will do through the work we’ll do together. Life holds both joy and hardship — but how we process and respond to those moments can transform our story into a living testimony. My hope is to offer you a space where truth and transparency (“TNT”) create room for healing, growth, and renewal.
I’m here to walk alongside you — not to fix you, but to help you uncover, rediscover, and embrace the fearfully and wonderfully made person God created you to be. In our work together, you’ll find a space free of judgment and filled with peace, compassion, and God’s love.

At a young age, I experienced God’s transforming power while reading the books of Job and Ecclesiastes. Those scriptures reshaped my understanding of faith, endurance, and purpose — and they continue to guide how I show up in both life and ministry. The more we live, the more we experience — and through each experience, we have the opportunity to endure, overcome, and grow in grace.
My ministry heart is woven into my work as a therapist. I see therapy as a calling — a sacred partnership with God and with you — to help bring light, understanding, and restoration to the places in your life that need care and attention.

I’m a California native who moved to Hawai‘i for college and earned my B.A. in Social Work from Hawai‘i Pacific University in 2017. After graduation, I worked at Waikiki Health as an HIV and HCV Medical Case Manager, supporting individuals navigating health and life transitions. When I returned to California in 2021, I joined an environmental justice organization, where I practiced mezzo-level social work before transitioning into clinical practice.
I completed my Master of Social Work at California Baptist University in April 2025 and now serve as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), accruing hours toward licensure. I’m supervised by Mariam Merrin, LPCC, and Alexa Talbert, LCSW, at Fourth Street Christian Therapists.
Outside of work, I value faith, family, and community. I believe God’s grace, love, and mercy are renewed every morning — and that your story, no matter where it’s been, can become one of healing, strength, and hope.
